A.  Absolutely not. The philosophy of Contemporary Drums and Percussion Camp is on par with the instructors who will teach there. That is:  Percussion is part of making music, and music is not a competition. But it is fun! From the large group sessions to the intimate master study groups, you will learn and share perspectives on\ drums and percussion in the most positive and professional manner. And we have found that many past attendees have stayed in touch after the camp. You can start networking by joining our group at: http://contemporarydrumcamp.ning.com

There is a lot of bonding and sharing of information at the camp. It's a great atmosphere.

Q.  What kind of access will I have to the instructors?

A.  The entire staff will be ALWAYS available throughout the camp because they are staying at the hotel and eating their meals on campus or close to the campus area. Though they will need breaks just as all the campers will, you will find them hanging around between classes and in the food court just like everyone else.

These are great times to ask questions and get answers. We just ask that this be done in a courteous manner with the instructors and other campers in mind.
